When one is a little girl, you don't grow up saying "I want to be a garbage lady", however, the reality is this became my career starting in 1989. The waste and recycling industry provides many opportunities to explore one’s own abilities. I held several administrative positions during the first few years of my career – Accounts Payable Clerk, Dispatch, and Office Manager. In 2003, as the Office Manager for Waste Pro USA, I began focusing on the Human Resource and Safety initiatives for the growing organization. As the company and industry changed over the years there was an increased need to adapt technology to the needs of employees. In 2007 as the VP of Employee Relations I had the opportunity to meet and review many organizations that could help us achieve these goals. 2013-present, my role shifted to encompass HR Technology as well as continued engagement with Payroll and Benefits. It is my goal and mission to develop others and create great people to work with and work around.
