John-Ryan ‘JR’ Blanchette is currently Head of Wellness Strategy and Offerings at Guardian Life and has been in the Group Insurance Industry for 16+ years. JR began his career as an intern adjudicating disability claims and has since acquired a breadth of experience across a variety of functional areas including Claim Operations, Financial Planning & Analysis, Underwriting, Strategy and Planning, and Product. JR is passionate about employee well-being and the opportunity to integrate wellness offerings into holistic experiences to help influence better outcomes for employees and employers. JR earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Business Administration from Queens University of Charlotte, and currently resides in the Boston Massachusetts area with his wife Tatum and two children Sienna (4) and Landon (4 months)
